1. Restart Your Device
It sounds simple, but restarting clears:
Failed security checks
Stuck updates
Hung processes
VPN issues
Try this first.
2. Check for Required Updates
Mysten Labs devices must stay compliant with security policies.
Install pending OS updates
Install required security patches
Restart after updates
If updates fail multiple times, note the error and proceed to step 6.
3. Verify VPN Connection
If you cannot access internal systems:
Disconnect and reconnect to the VPN
Try another network (hotspot, home WiFi, etc.)
Ensure your VPN client is updated
4. Confirm You’re Passing Security Compliance
If your device fails a compliance or security check:
Open the company-approved security app
Verify you have real-time protection enabled
Ensure storage encryption is active
Check for any warnings highlighted in the app
5. Free Up Resources
If your device is running slowly:
Close unused browser tabs
Quit background apps
Restart memory-heavy tools (Docker, VS Code, etc.)
6. If the Problem Persists
Submit an IT ticket with:
